Dunno if Select has more info or not but Mance signed about a year ago and may have been on a bit of a flexible contract anyway so it might be more of a "choosing not to re-sign" thing which is whatever. The exact verbiage of quitting is odd bc that isn't usually an option in wrestling contracts

Apparently it's because TNA don't want SDL wrestling again, but she says she went to a WWE doctor for clearance.

Sad, I was *finally* getting to enjoy Mance Warner. Also, SDL could've had a nice push considering they have barely anyone in that division lol.

Fightful reports Steph De Lander and Mance Warner have QUIT TNA Wrestling.

TNA reportedly refused to clear De Lander medically, telling her she will never wrestle again in the company. However, De Lander says she was cleared by WWE's regular spinal surgeon.

WWE's doctors have historically been stricter than others for neck stuff as far as I'm aware so I don't really think TNA has a leg to stand on if that's the issue

I don't see what's so silly about it, unless one or both of them have it in their mind that they'll be signed by AEW or WWE, which isn't likely the case imo. Both of them will have no issue staying booked on the indies, probably in MLW, and I think they both at least do have an outside chance of getting a run in AEW or WWE. It's strange when certain people walk away from their "big opportunities", they're praised, but others are disparaged.

I think her point is that she thinks Stephanie shouldn’t want to leave to wrestle cuz she’s bad at it. I lm a fan on betting on yourself so more power to them

SDL isn't a great wrestler, probably not even really a good one, but she does bring a bit to the table and improvement is always possible. Ultimately, I applaud someone for not resigning themselves to being told what they can or can't do, and props to Mance as well for supporting that. I'd have to imagine if he felt like things were going exceedingly well for him in TNA, he probably wouldn't be walking. I think they'll both do well wherever they find themselves.
