- The Wrestling Observer Reports that Jim Ross has yet to sign a new contract with WWE and because of the uncertainty regarding his current condition, there haven’t been any serious talks. JR’s contract is set to expire in three weeks.

While it may have looked like TNA advertised Sting for an interview on iMPACT this past week with no intention of airing one, that was not the original plan. The original plan was to air the interview with Sting but they changed their minds last minute.

- The New York Post mentioned this week that OJ Simpson enjoys watching WWE Superstars and SmackDown while in prison at Nevada’s Lovelock Correctional Center. Simpson is currently serving a 33 year sentence.

Maybe OJ enjoyed Snitsky's character a bit too much.

Id miss JR if he goes. But if he did i would loveto see Striker take over from him he would be a good replacement. IMO he is awesome, Especially when he is going against Cole he owns coles arse which is always funny ;)

PS before i get pulled on it i know JR is on SD and Cole is on Raw. Im just saying i like Striker torturing Cole =]

if JR leaves WWE, I hope to god he doesn't take a hiatus from pro wrestling. He's the best announcer in the history of the business, it would be a shame for him to go. JR, please, either CROSS THE LINE or re-sign your damn contract already!

 at the OJ thing

Apart from being a good announcer, I think JR also has a good wrestling mind and would be an asset to any company in a role bigger than just announcing matches!

they had him in charge of talent a couple of years ago, maybe they could put him in charge of signing guys again. Other than that, maybe the occasional PPV broadcast would be fine for him.
