You know what I find really amusing. It truly boggles my mind how most of you act. You say this is great and say this should have been done from the get go...but lets be serious. If Koslov would have debuted as this character you guys would have been like "why does the E keep recycling characters, he's just a modern day Sarge, wtf, they can't come up with any new ideas". Its the truth so no need to deny it.
But anyways, this character change seems interesting and could be a good way to not only build up Koslov but also to build up a pretty good face, ie: Evan Bourne as the underdog american trying to conquer the mighty russian. Good thing this is on ECW as it allows all involved to get some much needed in ring work and most importantly some much needed mic work. Good job E!

its pretty plain and simple the WWE just needs to have kozlov destroy everyone on ECW and completely dominate that brand and win the championship

I don't get what you are implying. I said that the E doing this change in character is a good move. However, I did NOT say that they should have begun his career with this character (which is what the beginning of my post was complaining about with smarks in general on how they would not have been satisfied one way or the other). Reread my post and hopefully it becomes a little clearer.

I have to ask this... Has this thing been dropped? I just watched this past week's ECW, and he came out like a normal dude again... If they dropped it, that's pretty dumb. The gimmick wasn't gonan make him huge or anything, but it's better than nothing.

I've always liked Kozov and saw that he could be something big if the WWE used him properly and it looks like they finally have. Thing is, the America vs Russia thing has been done so many times before.
Ukraine was once known as Little Russia but yeah, we don't really like those Russian bastards but Russia and Ukraine depend on each other for a lot of things like migrant workers and tourism.

LOL... My thoughts exactly... Business as usual this past tuesday. Even went back to the old vignettes of him training alone. They should rock that old schtick from Rocky 4 when they got the big bad Russian hooked up to all the machines as the doctors take him though his training/workout.... Imply the guys has almost super-human attributes.
