So earlier this week he said this:

Now they've done this:

WWE has dropped the price of Eric Bischoff's book "Controversy Creates Cash" to just $1.98 on the company's Shopzone website.

He really should have kept his mouth shut.

It doesn't cost that much to print a trade paperback. I worked at a bookstore during high school and pretty much all of the paperbacks that we didn't sell and were removing from inventory, we destroyed.

Still standard practice. If its a flat rate he gets per book then the WWE is only screwing themselves or they are taking it out of print perhaps and are just selling off the last of the inventory. If its a percentage then yeah less money for Eric. But as someone was saying about Jeff Hardy as well, the WWE is always good about royalties on product from what I've heard from various former talents over the years, so I'm sure any former talent would be more then happy if WWE was still selling merchandise based on them (books, shirts whatever)

BTW, if it's $1.98, I recomend people pick it up. Its a pretty good read. I enjoyed it.

:lmao :lmao :lmao

Am I the only one who actually liked Bischoff as a GM/on screen character?

Politics aside, history aside, say what you want about his WCW decisions and foolery, but I really thought he had a GREAT, believable, talent for acting on screen.

Who can forget the Billy and Chuck Wedding Minister character that he did, and deliberately didn't tell Stephanie or anybody involved? They legitametely didn't know it was him. I thought he was good when he was doing heel color commentary as well.

Nah, he was awesome.

If it adds to the thread, why not?

The aussies are constantly hijacking and steering numerous threads with their inside jokes, why can't anybody else?

That's in HIAT tho, but w/e.

well I wouldn't go that far. Its from his perspective, some of it is subjective. But I've read it and the Death of WCW which is by far one of the most accurate books on WCW. A lot of the stories that revolve around Eric's time seem to more or less match up with Eric's book, just minor details that may be told differently from different people.
