I just can't bring myself to get excited for Finn or Cole as champion again tbh, really hoping this is just a short transitional reign but unless they're waiting for Kross idk who else gets bumped up. Priest just won the belt and the NA title scene is fire rn, wanna let it play out.

They might have to just say fuck it and run with an UE feud

I don't think there was an interesting choice IMO, Ciampa to an extent but him being "most interesting" to me still doesn't mean he was interesting overall. Like if Finn is champ then what? I don't have a desire to see him wrestle this roster a whole lot, he's had most of the matches I wanted already.

Granted, the other three and Cole especially have done it all too

I'm with you in that regards, I just like the story they can tell with Finn really. Originally in NXT, made a bit of a splash on the main roster before treading water and coming back to NXT where he becomes champion again.

Now you look at it, the NXT Title scene is super stale and really needs refreshing.

Yeah that overall story is there I agree, just thinking about where they go in the future doesn't excite me. Ciampa was probably the only one with a similar story with his injury and then the supposed heel turn. Cole just feels like going right back to the Status Quo
