Well I’ve been on this forum for half my life so I feel like a lot of you are my friends. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs for sure but one way or another I’ve shared some of my life with you all. That’s why I’m gonna come here for advice on how to deal with this bullshit I’m going through now.

Last Wednesday, I was fired from my job. Pretty shocking and unexpected. I’m not an angry person but this sent me through the roof. There was no warning, I did my job well and always did my best to be a team player and thought I was well liked. I’ve been working in my field since 2019 consistently so to all of a sudden be out of a job after 7 years and at 27 years old is quite a way to fuck my life up. Feel like I gave so much to my company for what? To just be erased. Fuck that.

It’s funny to say this on a wrestling forum but I feel like I can relate to Stone Cold now more than ever cause I hate my boss’s (now ex boss’s) guts. He was the only person at my firm who seemed to just despise me and he’s the reason I’m gone. I did everything I could to do what was asked of me and it was never enough for that fucker. Now he gets to sit pretty while I’m out of a job.

My life will be fine. I have a place to live and have a lot of money saved up so I’m grateful that I’m not in a horrible position but for people who aren’t financially stable, I can see how this would be detrimental. The corporate world is an absolute fucking shit show and it’s amazing how people’s lives can be ruined at a moments notice.

Now I gotta just go back through the process of applying to a million jobs and do a million interviews and be stressed the fuck out until I finally land something again. Wonderful.

If no one wants to respond to this thread, that’s fine. I just needed to rant tbh.

It's a part of life especially in the corporate world. You can give all this time to them and they will let you go like that. Now you have 7 years of experience and can set what you would like to make at your new job location. File unemployment. Put in applications and see where it takes you. You may find a place that you like even better for more pay or about the same with better hours or whatever it is you are looking for. It does suck when it happens.
