her last match was back in February.

I don't know if there was a medical issue or just a not wanting to use her in-ring thing.

The approximately 12 names cut are not just outright releases. They are releases, company choosing not to renew, and talent refusing new deals.


I wonder if Wes Lee was a contract expiry, or even rejecting a new deal. He probably felt like there was nothing left in NXT (there wasn't) and if they aren't moving him up no need to stick around.

You're not wrong. Wes Lee would kill it in MLP. If AEW doesn't want him MLP is probably the best bet. maybe a combo of MLP/MLW.

I thought it was a good move at the time and actually thought he could beat Trick for a short transitional title run but once they just stuck him with those other two guys it felt like there weren't really plans. Also he was good enough promo as a heel but in ring it just felt flat

Hell I feel like the pairing with Tyson and Tyreik was solid. I thought those 2 are pretty decent and a guy like Wes could help elevate the 2. Sadly they just disappeared. I wonder if one of them was injured or something.

And I tend to not like Heels that have high-energy, exciting offense. Doing things that make fans excited while wanting those very fans to boo you feels counter intuitive.
