I want Jeff Hardy back.

God knows that toward the end of his run he was still bad on the mic, granted, a little better than before but still bad, and I have no respect or even simpathy for the man (he's a complete screw up and a freak, have you read his poetry or seen his "artwork"?). But I do know one thing, WWE programming needs him.

Here's a guy who is as over and even more than the sacred golden circle of the main event, and doesn't need to be booked as unstoppable as them.

Personally, I want the bastard returning for Mania and give us CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy, but that's just me.

I agree.. Jeff was so underrated and harassed on here, it was sad. He put on entertaining matches constantly. He wasn't the GREATEST on the mic, but fuck I'd rather see Jeff Hardy ANY fucking day than John Cena. At least Jeff isn't bulked on muscle and booked as an unstoppable superman. Now we have Batista (while his heel run isn't bad, I preferred Hardy/Punk) and REY MYSTERIO (after his promo last week I think I hate him more than Cena).

They'll let him back. You know they're losing money and after all his drug bullshit clears, they'll be begging him to come back, which is direct opposite of what they're trying to do.

trust me WWE and CM Punk doesn't mention Jeff Hardy as often as they do just to promote the DVD. They all know he is coming back sooner rather than later.

Anyone that's over and leaves at the peak of his popularity will always be missed. Even by the hat0rz, because as much as you don't want to admit it, he was entertaining.

I honestly would NOT miss Cena. Even if he left in 2006 or whatever. =/

I already miss John Cena.

And no, not the crappy automated robotic company line toting puppet super man that they are marketing today.

I mean the fresh, real, entertaining & truly badass John Cena who used to come out on Friday Nights and battle rap, destroy JBL's ten gallon hat and limo, hit bitches with a steel chain and made it cool to be a wigger. lol.

I always liked Jeff Hardy, he was growing a bit stale but that was only because he started to lose title match after title match. Once he actually started going over consistently, Hardy grew on me, and even if people on this forum don't like him, you guys have to admit he put on lots of great matches during is WWE tenure. Hopefully he comes back soon, Smackdown! needs him, he's arguably more popular than John Cena at this point

Here's my view on the situation from probably 06-08 I fucking hated Jeff Hardy. Never saw the appeal on why he was so over but his Royal Rumble feud with Randy Orton really showed me that he could eventually be a main player in the company. A few shitty reigns later and a terrible feud that dropped the ball in Hardy vs. Hardy led to the best feud of 09, Punk/Hardy.

Punk's insane straightedge heel character helped this feud so much but he was met halfway by Hardy. The reactions to Hardy were incredible, he was and still is so over I really still can't wrap my head around it. Punk's ability to draw heat just by being preachy is a gold mine for the rest of his career. People hate being told what to do and that's why Punk is awesome.

Hardy's mic skills weren't that bad towards the end of his run. I hated his delivery but I loved how they made him into the 'rockstar' of the WWE. He opened his promos with 'What's going on, (insert city name)' Every promo of his was like the beginning of a rock concert and the fans reacted as such. This feud still had so much more potential and those two are truly the perfect matches. Should Hardy return this could develop over time to be a Rock/Austin, Cena/Orton type feud. A long term conflict where the two HATE each other.

Kayfabe wise, Hardy already has reason enough to despise Punk, he 'ended' his career.

I would have never thought I would be begging for Jeff Hardy of all people to come back but Smackdown and moreso Punk need him. When Punk feuds with Jeff Hardy he's the number one heel, no doubt. When Hardy isn't around Punk is fueding with K-Kwik and tag teaming with Festus. It's a fucking travesty what happened to Punk with Hardy gone.

I'm pleading with anybody who has a say in this to get Hardy back for Wrestlemania. Punk/Hardy at the grandest stage of them all with Hardy's huge return would get you some buys. Upset about PPV sales, Vince? Then give us what we want. I still don't get how Jeff was on top of the company, the most over face and WHC but he still wanted to leave? I just don't get it.

Punk's downgrade wasnt just because of Hardy leaving. lord knows him and Jericho would have ruled the heel supremes with faces Edge and JoMo maybe if Taker and Tista didnt return.

As far as Hardy goes, I would love to see him return. However, with face Matt Hardy, THD, and CT AND especially JeriShow, Jeff wouldnt go anywhere near singles competiton for months let alone the main event. The Hardyz would more than likely win the tag titles and things would never change on SD. As much as they need him back, WWE won't use Jeff the way we want him to be used

I'm not gonna get all on the guys balls now that he's gone, but I'll admit the WWE product is better with him there. He's more over than Cena, a better worker than Cena and a hell of a lot less annoying. I think Punk/Jeff was just starting to blossom into something WWE has been trying to create for a long time now... A NEW RIVALRY!
For so long all we had was Cena/Edge, Cena/Orton, Orton/HHH, Edge/Undertaker....seeing a pattern there???

I don't think Jeff will be back anywhere near Mania and thinking so is just ridiculous. The guy is still facing criminal drug trafficking charges right now. Unless he's somehow cleared of everything by that point I just don't see it happening. Here's a company that will no longer show a girl in a bikini are a cut on forehead due to PG ratings but they're going to allow someone standing trial for criminal drug trafficking and possession to work for them? Yeah okay...
