Hulk Hogan 'Attempted To Commit Suicide'

Hulk Hogan once tried to commit suicide, having downed rum and Xanax, and was about to shoot himself, when a phone call from Laila Ali (co-host of American Gladiators with Hogan, and the daughter of Muhammad Ali) stopped him.

That is just one of the revelations about the Hulkster that we can expect to hear about as he begins to promote his new book "My Life Outside The Ring" is being promoted, starting with an article in the New York Daily News.

Hogan also paints his ex-wife Linda as an abusive alcoholic who "once threatened to beat their son with a wine bottle" and states that he begged Linda not to file for divorce after Nick was involved in the car crash that paralyzed John Graziano.

I like Hogan and all, but I've read in many wrestler's autobiographies that he's not the most reliable person when it comes to the truth. I kinda have the sneaking suspicion his book will have some tall tales in it...

I bought his first autobiography, and I will be buying this one too. Something tells me this is gonna be a chilling reveal of some of his darkest and most depressive thoughts. Hopefully with an uplifting message about how he got out of it all in order to promote his new Hulkamania Tour in Australia.
