I was going slowly but only holding for about a second

I think he probably had his hands too far up, and not in line with his chest like is proper technique

Maybe. You should try it for longer, imo it's harder than actually going up when you get to a decent amount lol.

Diamond push ups hurt my wrists like hell, but nothing else hurts. During the p90x diamond push ups workout, I pulled out 17 good ones followed by 6 shitty ones.

Obviously going slower and holding the position longer makes it harder. The same is true of any push up and most exercises really.

I didn't go slow. If I would of went slow, I would of only done like 9 or 10.

It hurts my left wrist because I've torn ligaments in it and it's never really healed properly. Mainly KILLs my triceps

That too. Doesn't kill my triceps though, but you do feel the burn. My upper body is fairly big, just looks at some of my real life pics I posted.

I'm sorry but I have a real hard time believing this.

Regular diamond push ups but holding for one second - 35

3 seconds (1 hour rest before previous) - 22

5 seconds (30 mins rest before previous) - 12

Going to try just 5 second ones only tomorrow just to compare the two. My target is 25 but I'm doubting I'll get that as it's fucking hard. Every time I stretch my hand I feel it.

It's easier than it looks, it's the 10 seconds up and down (especially up after you try it) that's the hardest imo. Once I'm up I do the 3 mini ones but I just can't hold it long enough.

I just don't have that type of balance to throw myself up onto my hands and stay there like that
