Alexander Rusev doesn't really do the name on a board and break it over his knee scthick anymore, thank god. It was dumb. But he dropped that and got himself the Russian valet, which dissapoints me a little as she is not that hot. He uses the camel clutch as his finisher usually (calls it the Accolade). It is said he wants city streets and other shit named after him. Statues in his honor. That kind of stuff. He keeps it up he may get it.

When he came out at the Rumble, I was expecting another "yawn, typical big man" but he actually impressed me with his ability. Of course, I need to see more than just a 6-7 minute Rumble performance before I hop on his bandwagon but it's a start. Seems to me like he could be the next Umaga-type heel (i.e. someone who can't talk for shit but has impressive size and looks to the point where he can be booked as a big, foreign monster and get over in spite of his lack of verbal skills, etc.)
Don't know what Trips means when he says his valet isn't that hot. She looks bangable to me.

He had a match with Kofi a couple of weeks before that you oughta go out of your way to see, Crayo. Only long match he's had iirc.
He apparently really doesn't know English, and he seems to be missing something. Was never really a fan although he looked REALLY good in the Rumble, so we'll see if he's one of those guys who do better on the main roster. Not sure. He was wearing a ridiculous Tarzan getup that set him apart and suited him well, but looks like he's ditched that. At lease he wore trunks under it.
Maybe @SharpySandow can tell you more since he's such a huge fan.

Yeah, I couldn't find his match with Kofi on YouTube, but it's worth checking out. Everything else was mostly short, squash matches I think. I'm not on the Rusev bandwagon but am curious how the guy does on the main roster.
I been on the bandwagon since I first saw him. They should switch him out for Ryback :happy:

The Bulgarian Brute
He was in FCW but after his first match with Mike Dalton (Tyler Breeze) he torn is ACL and MCL and was out like 6 months. When he came back he suffered a gruesome neck injury that put him on the shelf again leaving him partially paralyzed in his arms. During that point is when he went to go study Muay Thai in Thailand for real.. He came back in like May of last year to newly renamed NXT and competed in the battle royale for #1 contendership of the NXT title, then in August he had his first singles match debuting for NXT against Dolph Ziggler and lost.. after that Sylvestor Lefort wanted to be his manager soo bad and formed the tag team Fighting Legionaires with him and Scott Dawson.. Rusev annhilated both Dawson and Lefort a little over a month or two later in a tag team match because he was just furious with how the team was ran.. then Lana came along and has been his manager/announcer for his entrances.. ever since then he's been on a tear! Losing only to Kingston in a rematch (the first match he tore Kofi apart in less than 5 minutes)
This is his main finishing submission move: The Accolade
He's not too tall 6'0, but he's a solid 305.. He's only 28 years old.
He's Fierce, Agile and Brutal!!
