That's a shame. I have the issue of people I work with not getting my jokes too, but that's more casue I'm an old fuck compared to some of them.

I asked them today if they knew the difference between Chick Peas and Black eyed peas? After some blank stares and one telling how to make them. I said the Black Eyed peas will sing you a song and chicken peas will Humus one. Again blank stares.
