Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, a passionate champion of mental health, caregiving, and women’s rights, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2:10 p.m. at her home in Plains, Georgia, at the age of 96. She died peacefully, with family by her side.

RIP The Carters are/were pretty amazing people. But this probably means Jimmy will be gone soon too

Sucks but 96 years old and a 77 year marriage is nothing to be sad over. They’ve had a better and longer life than most

They lived such full lives, there is no reason to really feel bad. I feel that way sometimes. More happy for the life she led.

I went through a few years when I was terrified of death. I literally had nightmares about it all the time. However, I don't have that anymore. I'll be at peace with it, I am sure
