I don't think I've ever been to a bonfire with legit firewood, it was just always a bunch of fall trees and limbs lol someone would be like "hey this tree just fell on our land wanna come burn it and get drunk"

But my parents sit outside all the time hot or cold so firewood is important for their wood burning heater thing

Sometimes my dad would buy uncut logs too and we'd just split them ourselves cause that was way cheaper and we had a nice woodcutter so it was easy anyway. I just hated when he wouldn't give me a heads up and I'd be watching a movie or something and he'd come in like "hey we gotta split this wood come on" smh
