When fox sold all their assets to Disney a few years ago it was supposed to be so they could invest in only news and sports being successful and their sports programming has only gotten significant worse lol

Disney owns FX. Fox owns the Broadcast channels, FS1, FS2, Fox News and Fox Business.

saw a promo pic of an FS1 lineup sometime last year and almost thought it was a joke. Shit was like Barstool Sports followed by Skip Bayless followed by Jason Whitlock followed by Colin Cowherd. All I could think is wow, this shit fucking sucks

I never really liked FS1 much anyway but that small period where ESPN was worried about them was like the last tine sports media was fun to watch lol

they have the same potential viewers is the sad thing tho, like there's very few cable or streaming options that include ESPN but not FS1. But if you look at average viewership, it's a massacre lol it's too late now but proper marketing could have kept it afloat better
