He just came back from a debilitating injury relatively recently, no? Give him time to get back. But he is also older too I think right?
yeah and he's not the best shape guy and has a lot of miles. I just miss him but for sure he just needs more time

Well... for the longest time I'm harking on them seemingly being afraid to actually go for more Heel v Heel matches. They gonna have Andrade turn fully face for a program with Max, I bet.
To be fair Heel vs. Heel is very difficult to book and very difficult to get fan appeal. They will end up cheering for someone and it could hurt both guys.

I haven't seen him since he came back but I'm willing to bet he can still sell ice to an eskimo

I think long term plan should be to get the world title on Fletcher by works end
Right now I'd say they go with Will at All In, who then carries the gold at least to World's End. Them giving it to Fletcher then, to ring in 2027 with him would be great, although I'm not sure they go for a fourth Heel victory in the World's End World Title Main Event in a row though... :lol But yea, Fletcher, Will, Takeshita in the Title scene for at least the first half of 2027, I'd say.

Heel va heel can work but it has to be shirt term unless the plan is to.turn someone. Definitely the hardest of the combinations to book

It's only difficult if the company and their creative is stuck in, let's say classic ways. AEW doesn't have that problem, imo. Most of their audiences embrace good work, regardless of the talent's alignments. I honestly think it's pretty easy, especially in the age we are now, to book those stories and matches, if you know what you are doing.

the problem is that they will embrace it and the crowd will turn one of them face.

I agree that AEW could get it to work but I do not think that it is the best long term, as it can lead to a forced face turn of someone you don't want to turn off the crowd just strongly prefers one over another.

yes they do that, but the crowd will cheer for them, and it will start turning one of them.

AEW's track record makes it pretty clear that they can simple have Andrade tell Don to stay out of the MJF match, then have the match where the crowd will be entirely behind Andrade because they're ready to be anyways, and then easily have Andrade back as a full heel in the DCF by the next episode

There's tons of fluidity in alignments in AEW, I think folks gotta let go of that ingrained idea that shit needs to be clear cut or extremely overt

i know i dont really watch anymore. but the idea of heels and faces just seems so irrelevant.
