It's great from a history nerd perspective bc the innacuracies they took for story are so on the nose you can easily write them off and otherwise it's such a good representation of what this part of Japan was like forever ago

Not so much in dialogue, annoyingly modern at times, but just in the map and story

But I'm playing on easy so I can just let loose with some black powder bombs when I don't feel like that and still do fine

easy mode is the way to go, we're not some try hards

its one of the game pass games, i got it downloading. I'll let you know how it is then since you want it

I stopped playing for awhile after I finished act 1 of 3 and doing the second act now I do like that the enemies are significantly better even on easy lol they actually dodge sometimes now

it's got that stranger things, life is strange vibe with a mix of the stop motion spiderverse

sadly i hear the sequel isn't as good and definitely not as accurate. like they just went off the walls with it.

That's disappointing but it's also a completely new story anyway I think so oh well I can ignore it

Nah it's set in a different time period with a different protagonist, was just supposed to be another story in the universe

both have around the same metacritic score tho so im sure it's a good game still.
