Sounds stupid but we decided to ban Ipads because kids were using it appropriately, I had a student approach me for a class I was covering because a teacher was out today, and they asked nicely. And my principal dinged me for it a bit

It was the end of the day, and Idek why I said yes

But now Im just beating myself up over it

I'm sure it isn't as big of a deal as it feels like. And it seems you at least take pride in your profession, which could be why it's bugging you. Kind of a double edged sword. Try to focus on the positive things you've done at work recently and resolve to be more mindful going forward and you're good to go dawg.
