can't recall where i stopped watching but i know i saw the red wedding and joffreys choke

I have it on my wishlist on apple tv and if it ever goes down to like $30 or less I'll probably snag it.

Season 4 was the best season and the last one that was more faithful than not to the books

Season 3 had red wedding, season 4 had Joffreys purple wedding but if you binge they're like 3 episodes apart and also were on the same book only a few chapters apart, kinda insane

Book 3 is basically seasons 3 and 4 of the show and easily the best

Looks like its 99.99 right now and the lowest it has ever been was 39.99 back on 1/24/24

I don't mind season 5-6 and 7 has moments as well but he honestly I would only watch the first 4 seasons and just leave it

I'm not convinced the show runners had actually read the 4th book and the 5th came out during the show so they certainly didn't read that one

The new knight of the seven kingdoms show is 6 3p minute episodes based on a small novella I think is better than all the main books btw. I would just watch that

I thought ppl were just waiting on the last book but apparently there's two books scheduled still and there's like 0 chance he makes them now

he's even released like 10 chapters of the 6th books so long ago now but we don't know if they're canon bc if that book ever comes out they could be different

House of the dragon is pretty fun too, it's even a better adaption of the books than game of thrones tho, they don't try and cut out all the cool things
