Stevie has been on a few mythical kitchen episodes, I like her

I'm watching older videos now and it's so funny bc they started just making all these wacky food crossovers and stuff mostly bc that's what they did for GMM but over time they evolved to actually start making good food lol

And Josh is also a big history nerd and has done a meals of history show on the channel too which is how I discovered Tasting History bc they did a crossover

Yeah she's pretty great. She's been with them for basically ever. She wants to do other things now, so understandable.

Just hope whoever gets put into her spot is good. I don't know if Chase ever been on Mythical Kitchen, but he could be a good choice, but then they gotta have someone replace him as he is used a lot during the games they play with different characters lmao

Yeah I had to Google him bc I never remember their names but I think everyone has appeared at least a couple times at this point, he's always bothering randoms to eat his food

I listen to the hot dog is a sandwich podcast too and Nicole was pregnant last year so they always had another random employee as co-host, chase was on a few weeks ago

I always have a hard time going backwards on podcasts or YT channels. It just doesn't appeal to me I guess. I feel like my attitude is like, I like the current "universe" and production style of the channels, and I feel like going back in the archives just isn't gonna be as good. Which probably isn't true, that's just how the monkey brain sees it.

There are some exceptions for sure though, and if the catalog is short enough, that makes it a lot easier.

Yeah that's basically how I've always felt until more recently with YouTube where I just started watching it as they recommended them which was usually based on views or relevance to the last video I watched so they started getting older the more I watch

I still can't really do it with podcasts, the mythical kitchen one I mostly just see as another YouTube video by them

if the catalog is short then it's just easy for me to watch from the beginning so I do that instead lol

I did that with oversimplified recently bc they only do like one video evey 3 years

I can’t imagine just discovering LPOTL and wanting to go back from the beginning

It would have been pretty hard for me to get into the older rest is history or Dan Carlin podcasts if I would have listened to more recent ones first I think but I just decided I would like them and committed from the beginning without any real basis lol
