My fiancee tested positive for flu yesterday and now I'm paranoid I'm getting symptoms so they told me to just work from home, don't have to tell me twice

The reason we're given is collaboration works better in person, my argument is I only have tasks where that's really needed very little during the month

The real reason is every CEO in the world doesn't trust people they see as less than them and assume they're not going to get their job done at home, probably bc that's the short cuts they tend to take

Which is hilariously naive bc people go on walks outside for hours when they're in the office, you can find ways to not work if you don't want to that day no matter where you are. Home is just a little easier
