the card I just opened is best for that actually lol I transferred about 5k that I was planning to pay off by March once I decided on it

My credit limit is 10k rn, they'll probably up it but for the moment I'm just treating it as I have a 10k loan for 18 months which means regular payments still, I never just let it build by itself even if I'm charging more than I pay

Credit is such a scam tho, mine would actually take a big bit of I paid off all my student loans rn (not that I can) just bc they're my oldest loans so them closing means my oldest are the credit cards I opened more recently. So literally need to let the student loans play out while the credit cards get older so my credit doesn't take a bit

The idea of credit makes sense but the actual system is for sure a scam

Yeah you're punished for paying off certain debts early bc the point of a credit score is to tell creditors that you're good at paying interest, not principal
