i have a lot of mexicans that stay at my hotel and all the ones that have cars their license plates say texas

it's about 50/50 on if they speak english or not.

and it's one of my favorite things when they are in the lobby talking to each other or on the phone and an old person is there too and they just glare at them like they are so damn mad.

I’ve been trying to learn Spanish with Duolingo and when I’ve used it a little bit with guests at work they’re surprised

I thought about it but besides my lack of motivation i also feel like i would be horrible at it and just sound like i was mocking them.

I remember enough words and sentence structure from 3 years in high school that when guys like hangman cut a promo in Spanish talking real slow then I get a good gist but that's really the extent of it lol

Otherwise, I can say my name is Chris, that I can't speak Spanish, and the word help so I hope that's all I need if push comes to shove
