Just a few weeks ago one of my coworkers went into the ditch driving to work because of ice and the were like “so how long will you be delayed to get here??”

When i worked at the cell phone company we had a blizzard and none of the roads were plowed and ppl were getting stuck in the parking lot.

I called our boss to close up shop and they actually said, “if we send you home we have to pay you for the whole day so you might as well stay in case anyone comes in”

They ended up letting us close an hour early

My sister-in-law is a 911 dispatcher, she HAS to go into work. And we're not talking about a little bit of ice or an inch or two of snow, by time her shift is over there could be a foot of snow fallen.
