I think a lot of jokes especially from back in the day came from a place of hate even if they were funny. The cultures being made into jokes were just punchlines and it wasn't anything they laughed with most of the time

I don't think this is true so we should probably stop this convo lol it was very split and my opinion is if a good portion find a name like that as wrong then why would I, as a white person, fight for the name.it meant nothing to my life. I saw a lot more white people arguing it should stay
