exactly. Hell I'm good with Omega getting a brief run right before he calls it quits.

I feel that Omega still has years ahead of him. He has been through the ringer, but the diverticulitis will be the biggest factor in his health I would think, and that could recur pretty much at random. If he spaces out his matches more like the way he has been, he will extend his career and hopefully also allow some of his nagging stuff to heal.

He's not on the brink of collapse like Naito or Tanahashi or something at this point.

Thing is the guy you speak of hasn't wrestled more than 10 matches in any year since the Diverticulitis.

oh God no. But he still looks a bit slow and a lil bloated . I'm sure he'll get there tho. It's a complex recovery I'm sure too

this is true. But why wait until you get to that point to adjust your style

Are those things even related though? And of course the physical toll of wrestling is its own beast, but it's not like Brock doesn't train his ass off and probably does grueling farm and outdoor work as well.

I don't think it's a given that he will get to the point, or that he's even definitely heading in that direction. At his age, I think he should definitely be wise about the bumps he takes, but he's continually evolved his style anyways. I'd say he's already working way chiller than he was 10 years ago. And I suspect he will continue to take preventative measures as he sees necessary.

His knees seem fine too fwiw, that's what fucked Naito and Tanahashi. The neck bumps are more of a sudden terrible injury sadly than bad knees that just take your walking away gradually

He only does a few moves now like that damn poisonrana that I think he could cut, otherwise he's fine. He's a lot slower and works like it which just ends up safer whethee he wants it to be or not

I think all the crazy guys actually do a great job adjusting gradually so it's less noticeable. Omega, Ospreay, and AJ Styles have all done it well, you just realize in hindsight or when you watch old matches how different they were
