there's a really good YouTube channel named alt shift x that I wouldn't be surprised if you know of but at some point he started doing videos after every episode giving book context or stating where it differered. He also does history videos of the world of some stuff that may be not referenced in the show or vaguely references

I don't know that channel... but I'd rather read about those differences myself in the Wiki tbh

Yea it was... just imagine that would actually be the final scenes and then you had to wait a whole year

I normally always prefer reading too but I really like those videos. I would mostly recommend the history ones tho, not the episodes ones

tbf though, when I first watched it, they were already in Season 4, I think. So it didn't had that impact on me.

Lol I remember vividly how I started the show, I randomly started it a week before season 3 aired without knowing that and finished season 1 after a few days and was pretty hooked but then I found out about season 3 so I watched season 2 basically all Friday night and Saturday to catch up before it premiered Sunday

And honestly I may not have missed an episode live from that point on

And then in between seasons 3 and 4 I got all my friends hooked so they came over to watch season 4 every week lol

The last season was extra depressing bc 5-7 I had big watch parties with my friends in college but 8 was when we graduated so I was back to watching alone at my parents lmao

And then ya know it also sucked but not for most of the reasons every started parroting after a few weeks

I had no issues with 6 or 7 at the time but in hindsight I kinda did. 8 especially was super rushed was my main complaint, they didn't care for satisfying conclusions to the things they didn't have a good book reference for since they were ahead and that made the things they did have a reference for make less sense in getting there
