General Chit-Chat Thread: A New Beginning

So I'm assuming just at peak store times when you'd go like after work everything is higher

our store was dead until like 5pm during the week and weekends so of course most of the managers worked 7-4

i have a friend that still works there now and they finally decided to switch it up and he works like a few 1-10pm shifts a week now

Yeah I always had to close when I worked at Hibbett sports which was my only retail job bc the manager only scheduled herself from 8-5, even tho the district manager said not to do that

yeah it makes no sense. at my current job i have a General Manager who is mon-fri 8-5 and then an assistant manager who usually is mon-fri 7-3

so weekends and nights theres basically nothing

i mean, it's just me, a shuttle driver, and usually one or two housekeepers but yeah i actually am in charge

all that really entails tho is just telling the housekeepers what rooms to clean, when the driver needs to pick someone up, and then i send housekeepers home if i don't need them anymore. nothing that important.
