in 2k26 there's an option to choose mystery superstar so you don't know who it is until the match starts.

like you can do an Elimination Chamber of all 6 mystery people and the 4 pods are blacked out so you don't know who is in them until they are released.

So basically like you'd press the Random button on the selection screen, but you don't have to look away anymore while doing so

for the numbers ppl are picking in my thread im going to do two rumbles. one random with the top 30 CAW i can download(already have them downloaded) and then a rumble with just 30 randoms

yeah, you can still do random and it shows who it is but when you press it the first time it goes right to Mystery Superstar. you have to press random a second time i believe for it to show the person.

i wish they would ham it up a bit more and do like a cutscene for it or something or have the announcers mention it. a good amount of times they'll ruin the surprise by mentioning who the first person is fighting as they are doing their entrance.
