I think 2002-2004 is pretty underrated. 2004 SmackDown might be rough in places, but for the most part I fuck with it heavy. It's the only period WWE pretended to care about the brand split.

Yeah. I remember Evolution very vividly, as well as the Jericho/Trish/Christian love triangle. But I guess I was more of a Smackdown boy. JBL's WWE Championship reign raised me fr.

All the hot but slightly nerdy girls in my school were into Pokemon but I just never could get into them much, I did beat Pokemon blue tho

For my childhood, I think the peak of my real engagement with wrestling on tv was like 2002-2004. We must have had cable then, because a lot of the times we didn’t. I always followed wrestling, up until like 2014, but my ability to follow on TV week to week was always stop and go.

My love for wrestling is what made me so savvy online. We only had one TV in my house until I was like 17, so I saved up money I would get from shoveling or mowing peoples lawns and bought my first laptop. From there I was either torrenting wrestling from diff eras / Japan or I was finding websites and watching shit like TNA 2012 in 10 part dailymotion pieces

Yeah I finally got a homie like that in high school. Dude was my friend forever but suddenly got real into wrestling and I was like fuck yeah. His mom took us to watch Bound For Glory 2011 at the movie theater. Core memory
