I didn't get into Japanese stuff til way later tho, idk what I would have thought in junior high. I was getting into reading about the history then so I vaguely knew about the lore but I didn't even think to look on YouTube for awhile lol

I was on an NBA forum around 2010, and then found my way to caws.ws around 2011/12 after the pipebomb, then WC for a hot minute

I was lucky that the nWo/Austin eras started when I was in middle school and the Monday night wars went through into high school. The invasion was smackdab in the middle of my sophomore year. Such fun times. I remember whether you were a WWF or WCW fan being a big deal. By the time I was a senior though no one watched wrestling anymore but me lol

I remember in 7th grade my English teacher randomly went on a rant about the tragedy of the von erichs and I had just learned about them myself so that really resonated with me how popular they were 25 years later lol
