Shit man. I am really proud of Cole for being a professional. More respect for doing everything he can to put over Kyle in NXT. The guy is a really class act and a real guy you want in your company. Adam Cole is a big deal that some people over the years that were not his biggest fans that will never understand.

For those asking about the status of Adam Cole and WWE, PWInsider.com has independently confirmed the story first reported overnight by WrestlingInc.com, that Cole's current deal with WWE is set to expire this summer.

That realization took a number of WWE execs by surprise as the belief was Cole was locked in through January 2022. Multiple sources within WWE confirmed the story, admitting frustration that it had become public.

Cole, currently the #2 heel on the WWE NXT roster internally (Raw bound Karrion Kross is #1) is now in the amazing position of being able to attempt to negotiate the best deal possible for himself going forward with WWE, AEW, etc.

PWInsider.com can also confirm that the timing of the company learning of the Cole contract issue very much lines up with the timing of the departure of Canyon Ceman.

Cole is another fella who has never done it for me but there's no way around the fact that he is probably the most popular guy in NXT, has a cult-like following and would be welcomed with open arms by the AEW faithful, if he were to leave that is.

IF AEW does in fact score Wyatt and Cole on top of the other recent acquisitions, I just see no way they can't make Rampage a 2 hour show and they'll probably need to reassess their PPV model as well. At that point it would be far too much top level talent to continue with their current format... which honestly I'm very wary of because I love the current format and don't want to lose out on some of the lower tier acts that I love in favor of some of these dudes.
