Fightful - Adam Cole contract expiring after Summerslam

Adam Cole is going to become a free agent this month.

Cole had been rumored to have his WWE contract expire in 2024, but Wrestling Inc. has learned that it is expiring this month after SummerSlam. Cole’s contract actually came up after the Great American Bash, but he extended it.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful will have another major update on this as the night goes on.

Cole deserves a run on the Main Roster after his contributions on NXT being there forever it feels like. Hopefully they can resign him again and we get to see that because the feud with Kyle has been good but I'm like move on with the guy let him have new dancing partners on the Main Roster already.

Feel like dude is in a weird situation. Clearly loves NXT and being THE guy there so I could see him signing a new contract but then I could see AEW offering him a boat load of money to make the jump over and be with his wife.
