Anyone watching Netherlands/Japan? My grumpy old bastard of an uncle insists that the orange is blurry on TV, I don't really see it
The Netherlands just retook the lead with a great shot. The keeper didn't have a chance at it. I love a good clash of styles like what we have in this game.
I don't know how far Germany is going to go, but I think the goal by Curacao was a reminder to wake up and remember that they were Germany and should show it.

That was a textbook goal by Egypt. There was barely a thing that Belgium could have done to stop it.
Iran just will not go away. New Zealand was up 1-0 and 2-1, but Iran is apparently trying to make sure that Group G is completely knotted up after 1 game.
In the first half, France and Senegal looked like a couple of heavyweights just unable to land the knockout blow. France is now up 2-0 having scored both goals in the second half, looking almost like a completely new heavyweight was brought in during the 5th round.
