Ezekiel is no longer listed internally on the WWE's roster

Ezekiel is no longer listed internally on the WWE's roster, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

The character was replaced last week with his original persona, Ezekiel's "older brother" Elias.

It would appear that, as many of you have suspected, that when the time comes, the Elias character will be returning to the Raw roster while Ezekiel, who was written out due to "injuries", will fade into the darkness.​

Thank you Triple H for correcting another wrong. Elias is one of my favorite gimmicks in WWE today. "Who Wants To Walk With Elias", was gold and will now continue to be gold again. I can't wait to see him start hitting people in the back with guitars again.

I thought the Ezekiel stuff was fine, to be honest when it first came about it was just nice to see WWE doing something different under Vince. It felt fresh. If anything that goes to show how stale the product was leading up to that point, if completely repackaging one of your most popular acts into something else was a necessary step.

To be honest, the highlight of it all was Kevin Owens, and just for those months where he went full conspiracy mode, I’d say that the experiment was worth it.

All of that said though, Elias coming back is awesome. I hope that with HHH in charge, he won’t just find himself floating - forgive me drifting - around the midcard again and he will have something decent to do as soon as he returns.

Ezekiel was fun for a while but he wasn't going anywhere with that. Elias is a great crowd warmer and I can't wait to see what he does with the current Raw roster.

I'm down for him to go back to the original gimmick. I enjoyed it, and they could possibly expand on it better with HHH in charge.

I like both Elias is the better overall character, but That Geek with Zeke was alright only because of KO. No one else beside maybe Sami would have made it as entertaining.
