Candice LeRae's WWE deal expires

WWE has less royal families, as the couple of Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae are both free agents.

Fightful reported earlier this year that LeRae's WWE deal was up in the spring, and there was no indication of an extension at that point. This morning, LeRae was added to the alumni section of WWE.com, and Fightful was able to speak with WWE sources that confirmed she was a free agent.

LeRae's husband Johnny Gargano left the company in December, and hasn't wrestled since, but has started doing signings. The two had their first child in February, and LeRae had remained on television for several months before taking off for maternity leave.

As of a few weeks ago Fightful had heard there weren't talks of an extension, but haven't heard how that landed since then. We were told by one WWE source that if they had their way, the decision to freeze the contract during maternity leave would be "in her court," but we weren't given an indication that is the case.

This leaves Indi Hartwell as the only member of The Way to remain on the NXT roster.

Was never a huge Candice fan but I can see her appeal. That woman’s division could use the help and signing her might tempt Gargano to sign as well.

I mean, her and Johnny helped trained Britt, she's good friends with the Bucks, the adam cole connection. Has nothing to do with "like every week" , AEW was Johnny's very likely destination and the only thing that made ppl think he may come back was Candice. Now we have our answer, he's not coming back.

she's also Canadian. so if the women have a joker on the Hart tournament side, that would be a pretty easy one

She just had a kid 3 months ago. I’d say if she comes back to wrestling it’d be next winter or even next year before she wrestles.

not saying she's in ring shape right now but that's not really true (physically) . She could technically start wrestling/training right now. Noty saying she will or that she won't spend more time at home, but you don't need that much time off medically speaking at all.

the "rumor" is they'll likely be back around august or September. she's probably started to train now as it's been over 3 months
