I don't mean to be abrasive but Vince is still the president of WWE, he's just been neuteured a lot and banished from creative. I don't think it would be up to Hunter at all, it would be up to Vince and Nick Khan who still hold actual positions on the board of directors.

I don't think HHH would stop the Saudi shows even if the stockholders were fine with it. Don't forget that Hunter is basically in Vince's shoes now. I'm sure his number one priority is still getting the most profit out of the product and the Saudi shows are filling the vault substantially and they are overall on great terms with Saudi as well.
I agree and disagree. If you’re private you often make decisions against your bottom line if it's better for your company in the long run. Especially from a pr standpoint. The mindset Vince had for getting the most money from the product was bore from being a public company, because that’s the primary directive.

perfect recent example - AEW firing punk. that may have been a lot more difficult if AEW was public. Not gonna compare it WWE though because Punk doesn't really hold any leverage in that company but he had a lot in AEW

Unless I misunderstood, I believe Vince has been neutered to the point of having virtually no decision-making authority. You’re right about Nick, though.

Not at all, only as far as creative goes. He brokered UFC's own Saudi deal himself, he's still very much doing non-wrestling creative business

Then I misunderstood. I could have sworn there was a report that stated endeavor thought he was a liability and didn’t want him running anything.

It's the typical story tho someone gets success and news comes out.
While I do get what you’re trying to say here and I agree it’s lame when old comments get dug up on someone, but that isn’t the case here at all bud.

Wrestlers really seem to have some of the worst timing ever for stuff like this.

Yeah, just call me confused. I’ll have to find the report again then cause I could’ve swore they basically said we only agreed to this guy being on the board because we had to for the sale but this guy fucking sucks so get him out of here lol

I mean thats definitely been the case around creative I've heard but not the company as a whole. He's more powerful than Dana White as far as the TKO board goes in pretty sure, below Nick Khan and Ari Emmanuel though

I think that was swirling around when it came out he was being investigated by the feds and I think that is ultimately why they forced him out of the spotlight and handed creative fully over to HHH in the process. but yeah he is still on the board , pres of wwe and i believe still has a lot of stocks despite selling some of it
