I loved it, I've said over and over how AEW leans into the obvious / most predictable outcomes of storylines and while its good in a way because it almost always ensures a story will get tied up nicely, its neat to have deviation and chaos. Kevin Knight being given the final angle on a huge ppv. Him not turning on Speedball, but a completely broken down Darby? I think it's the perfect little random ass shit that would work so well for a heel turn

Like we just got the very obvious / planned out Kyle Fletcher turn, which was phenomenal, but of course expected

Final stretch of the Buy-In, which was tight. Kinda wish we could've seen a bit more of the Opps/DR match, but what can ya do... Of course they somehow got Eddie into the ring for this show in Queens too, but again... wish we could've had the visual of Eddie sharing the ring with Mick, instead of that Darby/MJF segment, but oh well... overall it was an entertaining pre-show.

Also, Mick in AEW feels right imo. I don't know, if he actually has a contract or if it was just a one-night-only kinda deal, but him showing up for some buy-ins or special occasions would be tight. ... Would be great if a contract would be involved, because having someone like Foley in the back giving advice and helping with character development and promo work is pretty much invaluable. Especially for this roster, where quite a few could that to really get onto that next level, imo.

I like the entrance setup btw. I'm sure they gonna make the most out of that with some of the matches on the card :garrett
