Punk wins. Blow off No-DQ match @ SS with Punk retaining... I'm hoping.

Here's some SD thoughts (So.. did anyone else actually watch the show?)

SD was once again the best wrestling show of the week.

Punk's opening promo was awesome (As usual), and he was getting a shitload of boos near the end of it. I love how he can get heel heat without even raising his voice.

Kidd vs Morrison was on-par with their excellent match that they had on Superstars last week, and the Starship Pain looked nasty as Morrison landed knees first into Kidd's face. Haas vs Slam Master J was... Well, it was there. I thought Haas actually looked better in the match than Jesse.

The four-way was fun even if Ziggler winning was a bit predictable. I did like that Knox managed to look good since I think he's severly underutilized on SD. Jericho vs JTG was much better than expected and it was easily the best match I've ever seen be a part of. Didn't really mind him winning the match since Cryme Tyme need to look credible before the tag-match at SS.

Khali vs Ortiz was just there to further the Kane/Khali feud. They've actually built this up quite well... Of course, that won't stop the match from sucking all kinds of ass when it happens. I'm just hoping they don't put it on PPV (I still haven't recovered from their "epic match" at Wrestlemania 23).

Punk vs Hardy was decent, but you couldn't expect them to go all out on free tv. Matt played his role well (Not really backing up either man) and actually looked a lot bulkier. The post-match attack was just more awesomeness by Punk and the chair into the ring post just looked NASTY!

Punk's line "Make sure he's OK! Fix him so I can break him again", just made him look like even more of a dick.

Like I said at the beginning of this post, I might have to order this PPV just for the Punk/Hardy match. This is by far the best thing going today in WWE.

I love how WWE pulled a TNA during the 4 way and only showed up like 3 1/2 minutes of a 7+ min match with a commercial thrown in. Was there seriously the need for that?

........? teddy should go = there was nothing else that sucked on the show, the rest was average+

I asked the question because you and I (And now Peep) are the only ones that have commented on the show.

I also disliked the commercial that just gutted the 4-way match, Peep. The sad part is that the match was STILL better than anything on RAW this week >_>

I don't watch Raw, so I really wouldn't know. I wouldn't doubt it though. Only reason I'd even want to turn on Raw is Masters, Swagger, or Bourne were in a good situation. But we all know that's never going to be possible.

^ All 3 are getting pushes, especially Masters.

Smackdown! was awesome last night, the surprise appearance by Vince was great, and then having it all lead to Matt Hardy's return was an even bigger surprise. I have no idea what they have planned for him, whether or not he's turning babyface again is a question I'm sure we all want answered, but only time will tell. CM Punk has been solidified as a heel, and what an awesome heel he has become. This Punk/Hardy feud has been great, I can't wait to see the TLC match at Summerslam.

He just came back, of course he's getting a push.

He won't be in the main event though, or anywhere out of the mid card, especially on Raw.

Bourne beats Swagger one week, then Swagger squashes Bourne the other.

Neither man gained absolutely nothing... That's not a push.

^^^I know. The post was directed at Chessarmy's "all 3 are being pushed" comment.

I can't believe Kane had to kidnap RANJIN like that! lol

That SD was historic, it has Ortiz's final televised match.
