Not just the "I'm gonna allow people to call dibs on wrestlers so they can draft them much later than they would normally be drafted" but also the "I'm gonna draft the best people for my roster regardless of what other players have."

Both strategies are acceptable. And both sides need to live with the other strategy.

in a fantasy football draft, a common strategy is to draft that your starting running backs primary backup as a "handcuff," this way if there's an injury you just plug and play the other guy. That doesn't mean you are ENTITLED to that person. Any team can draft them. If you wait too long you miss out. Simple as that.

Calling "dibs" on other players is to me bad faith. That's not what happened in this instance, but expecting dibs on anyone is bad faith. That would be like me saying before the draft "I am taking Cena, Hogan, Rock, and Austin for a Fatal 4 Way nobody can take them" and everyone accepting that.

Is it bad faith to immediately draft a tag exclusive person? Yes. If that person is also a single or in other tag teams is it bad faith? No, not at all.

We've all been sniped in this draft already. No big deal it happens. Move on, no need to offend the person who sniped you.

Tbh I feel there is a difference there because its a season long thing, so you've got to be smart with football.

Here we're building a card. You got to remember A LOT of us have been doing this a very very long time, and have sort of established this respect where we give people a sort of grace period to draft their tag team. Like yeah you don't have to do it, but it's more of a respect thing. Like I get you're trying to win, and all. But it's more about having fun in my eyes, like do I want to win? Yeah. Am I gonna hurt someone else's match to do so? No. Because I know I want that same respect. So I don't think you can compare it to fantasy sports, because that's a different thing, where things can change from week to week outside your control. Like, do what you want, because at the end of the day it is what it is. But there is a reason some of us old heads feel how we do, and it's because of how many times we've done a ticket wars and have had that respect for each other.
