But I didn't really like the main event. Undertaker still bores me, and it was disappointing match wise. I don't want to see Taker/Cena at Wrestlemania.

They should've capitalized on being in NYC other than a video and Santino. IDK why, but I still love "Empire State of Mind" when I hear it almost every hour.

Great minds think alike. I agree with this 100%

Main Event was pretty good i thought. Cena got the pin on HHH who seems to be putting ppl over quite a bit lately. I thought Taker would get it, But he nailed Cena and stood tall in the end. Predictable yes, But entertaining anyways. 3 seeds planted in that match IMO Taker/Cena and unfinished business between Taker/Michael's and also Cena/HHH. Id like to see Cena/Taker but as said above only if it was for Unified title or Heel Cena.
Anyway i enjoyed Raw this week.
How is a stare down for historical magnitude 'planting seeds'....

Epic ass main even match. One of the few I've enjoyed lately from Raw and the WWE for that matter. And like I've said countless times now, Undertaker seemed in fine shape and condition. Raw was good for history's sake.

Well if Taker isn't banged-up then he just buried Punk out of lazyness or for political reasons...

Well played!

Exactly what I was thinking, Taker seems absolutely fine. Though he does have a history of working through some pretty bad and nagging injuries. Never the less there didn't seem to be a damn thing wrong with him the past few times I've seen him wrestle.
I think Punk was just another casualty of shitty booking and pandering to the same old fucks over and over again.

Taker might be feeling ok now though. I mean nagging injuries can come and go. Plus the adrenaline makes them get through the match. Plus it was in MSG thats an added adrenaline rush to.

"I think Punk was just another casualty of shitty booking and pandering to the same old fucks over and over again."

Something which if it was in relation to HHH would see veritable smark E-riot. :sigh:

The way I see it... Either:

1. He came back to early... And thus buried Punk by means of misguided loyalty to the product. Even, then as commendable as that could be perceived, he has sway, he could have said no to the title reign... I blame Taker

2. He's fine and for some reason wanted to bury Punk for reasons other than his fashion-sense (lol)... I blame Taker.

3. Shit booking. Again nothing stopping Taker flexing his backstage muscle.... I blame Taker.

I mean, shit, if we're to believe at least a fraction of what we read, isn't it the likes of HBK, HHH, Taker & co. that supposedly have enough knowledge AND sway to save us from Vince's lesser ideas?

I mean, I don't mean to sound bitter or anything. Because it could be argued that Punk is young and he's already had 3 World Title reigns and there are many more to come. I had no problem with Taker winning the belt off of him, it was simply the fashion in which it was done.
Punk is one of the rare heels today who is booked as a fighting heel. Yet that didn't even play a factor in his matches with Taker. The entire "feud" you knew Punk had absolutely no chance. The match lengths were laughable and the finishes were about as clean as a squash match.
They've given Punk all the heat in the world, slashing down people's life choices, retiring the most over face in the company, screwing another extremely over face out of the title. And now what are we hoping for with Punk... that he goes back to ECW??? This shouldn't be the case at all. Punk should be at the top of the Smackdown ladder right now.

I agree 100%, Punk is really one of the only heels that gets major heat without the pussy heel role. I think it's more Taker then Punk, he is part of that small circle who has enough pull with the writers to get basically whatever he wants. Punk getting moved to ECW would be good/bad. Good because after watching ECW I could see a good and competitive CLB/Punk feud but bad because SD would not have the heel to run the show like Edge did before him.

Yeah, Jericho is plausable but I could see him possibly getting into a program with Big Show in a few months, after the Jeri-Show team falls apart.

Nah, if he does it would be extremely short lived. Don't forget Big Show is on RAW...and I think it's more likely we'll be factoring him into the WWE title scene after they drop the titles...as scary as that is.
In the fucking meanwhile they're doing fuck all do build a tag team that looks strong enough to take the titles off of them. What the hell are they doing with Hart Dynasty? They've done NOTHING since forming.

Jericho can do a fine job of carrying Smackdown. He's always deserved the chance to carry a show. He did it with RAW in 08, but he was really only filling in for Orton's absence. I would rather see Punk in a great feud over the ECW with Christian than taking losses to R Truth and feuding with a ref. Christian and Punk could carry out an amazing program I think.

Yeah, I do agree on Punk/CLB. I feel that Jericho has the talent to carry one but I could also see the WWE trying to go in a younger guys on top approach, with Cena carrying the load on Raw and Punk on SD. But imo taking CLEAN losses to R-Truth and the whole dress code ordeal could have possible ruined Punk running smackdown. :(

I think we need to accept the fact that Punk is done on Smackdown for a good while. If last night wasn't to tease a Punk/Christian feud...OR if it didn't at least show them that's what people want...I don't know where the fuck WWE's head is at.
Batista is obviously going to take priority over anyone else as a heel contender for the title after he wraps up with Rey.
