There's a NEW World Heavyweight Champion, who has a fake hip and really can't put on long matches anymore. But who cares? It was either that, or actually giving a young guy a BIG win that would establish him as a legit main eventer for the rest of his career!

i hope they gave taker the title so he could unify it with orton's giving us y2j vs taker at mania then edge interfering to screw jericho out of the match.

Haven't seen all SD yet just 1st ten mins. Im bit confused that Taker/Punk feud wasn't really settled at HIAC. And i didn't really see the point on putting the title on a injured Taker =/. But now we have a 4way for the title. With I want a title match Tista and Rey Rey is in there 2. I just dont get it. Why not just Taker/Punk rematch ???.

Taker did quite a long promo and it was good. Even if he cant wrestle not much now. Have him cut the promos and put over youngsters he will be ok. 2 good matches on smackdown rye vs y2j and Morrison vs ziggler. I'm sure Morrison knocked out ziggler legit with that chuck kick. Overall smackdown was alright.

Wait a minute... Mysterio gets busted and suspened WHILE he's the champ, his 1st match back was a title match, then he gets another title match? And Tista is title hoping as well.

Another thing I don't get is why Rey and Tista are getting the title shots? They lost at the ppv. So should Big Show and Jericho be the one's who get the title shot, not the losers?

Ziggler is now what 0-4, 0-5 with the IC title? Next challenger please.

I like Morrison, but I wish they would just put the IC title on Ziggler. He is as good, if not better in the ring, and way more interesting and better on the mic.

Ive been a massive fan of Morrison for a long while now and always seen him as leading in the young up and coming stakes, Ive changed my mind. Ziggler for sure.

Oh, and its true, wtf have tista and rey done to get title shots. It is BS. Let them work a few matches at least to make it seem like its fair. Jeez!!!

To be honest, who else are they going to put in the title match? Matt Hardy and Kane would be good fill-ins if they had maybe done something recently. And they weren't going to have another 8 minute singles match with Taker/Punk so why not add the 2 other highest profile stars on the show.

That's all well and good. But please explain how Rey and Title hungry Tista fit into this please. Id rather another blow off match with Punk/Taker even if it is only 8/10 Min's long than shot Tista and Rey into the mix. There is no explained reason for either Tista or Rey to be in with a title shot.

I think it's to take away from Undertaker's workload. Especially as champ, I think they'd want him to stay away from as many singles matches as possible.

Jericho and Big Show would make more sense, but they will be feuding DX apparently.
