Brock Lesnar is the modern version of Andre the Giant

I hope the NWA can make a bit of a come back. Never really had it here as a kid it was WWF all the way but we kinda knew who Flair and Sting were via VHS videos and wrestling magazines.

If you got to be apart of a Table for 3 episode...

I like this list. For wrestlers? Flair, HHH, and Taker. Jim Cornette, Sting and Ricky the Dragon Steamboat would also be interesting. Basically the above 9 guys would be my short list. Table for 3 is probably one of my favourite Network shows and I watch it occasionally.

Brock Lesnar is the modern version of Andre the Giant

Not really, Andre Aldis and the NWA title as your signature?

Ever Stand next To Andre the Giant?

I was but Ima old fart (40). Even then it was towards the end of his run after WM III, IIRC WM IV was the 1st one I watched. Started watching in 1988 but it was 6 or 9 months out of date. Summer Slam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble were new. I liked The Rockers, Demoliyion, Jake the Snake...

Proposed Boycott of WWE if they go through with Saudi event

People generally do not care what shitty things governments get up to in their own countries. Assassination on foreign soil is a bit different, kind of means no one is safe. They could send a hit squad after you although in practice regimes tend to limit foreign soil assassinations to dissidents...

    Damn Good Match

Not often I post about a good match but this week on 205 Live they had a fatal 5 way. Cedric Alexander, Lio Rush, TJP, Tony Neese, Gran Metallik. They basically tore the house down, and the crowd started to get into it with chants for Lio Rush whose mother had an affair with a cat or rubber...

    Thought The Network Dumped RAW/Smackdown

Its a month behind, the Xbox had nothign thouugh and I had to usethe PS to load up last months stuff and I can't watch the AE on the Xbox atm. Up to mid 2000 now started in 1998 a couple of years ago.

    Thought The Network Dumped RAW/Smackdown

Yesterday I booted up the Xboxone to watch Smackdown and NXT but they were not there. I booted up the PS4 and thasnkfully they were on that so I did not mss out. Enjoy my NXT and quite liked SD, barely watch RAW now. Generally I prefer the app on the Xbox but yeah that night it was not...

    Most Disturbing Storylines

I was 16 but never really took the Undertaker/Wrestling as that serious. Early Goldust would be shocking I think if you rewatched it now. THese days its outright homophobia and WWF had to tone it down even in the 90's. With some things like the metoo movement I wonder if some of the things I...

    Maryse Returning to the Ring

I think I lean towards Becky or Sasha myself.

Scrapped WrestleMania Main Event for one of The Greatest Legends Ever!

Titles meant less back then at least for the heels and I would not call Jake under rated. Back then you had the title for years at a time. The IC title also meant more as well. I was young but whoever had it was basically picked for a push or was a main event contender. There were also a lot...

    The Blackheart Reigns...

Hogan can't wrestle is a myth he had a good trainer and did it in Japan. American audiences just wanted to see Hulk Hogan character not Hulk Hogan the wrestler. He was roughly a good technically as most 80's wrestlers although even back then Bret Hart was often used to evaluate new recruits and...

    The Greatest Ever...To Never?

He did some very early work for OVW I think. Sting would have been it if he held out a bit longer, Young Bucks have technically worked for WWE as well.

    I’m done

Just remember this has also been the most profitable year ever for the WWE. Vine will go where the money is, I can't figure it out but they must be doing something right.

What If? - The Screwjob Never Happened

Context WWE was in the crapper with money in 97, hence why VInce wanted Brett gone. The money is Brett dropping the title at a big 4 event. You don't want the inmates running the asylum. VInce is the boss, he is the promoter, and the screw job was not even his idea nor was it finalised until...

    I’m done

I think its getting to the point even some of the casuals are becoming aware of the indies and I thhk they are making better product. If I oculd get a $10 a month subscription to them I would. All in was $40 though and $10 a month is worth it for the old WWF stuff, WCW and NXT alone (Smackdown...

Did Booker T recieve a just sentence?

Small time crooks get to hang around with big time crooks. Its more of a training camp for scumbags than reform. Jails also boring full of stupid people who like doing things like picking fights or spreading crap because there is not much else to do. And things like fights happen so someone...

    I’m done

I'm a month behind on Smackdown via the network but yeah it has been quite good along with NXT and 205 Live (true story).
