I love EXC but they are in desperate need for heavyweights. They showcased a couple of guys last year but no one worth challenging for the title. They're really gonna have to go after some big name who's been idle for a while. Cro Cop? Maybe?
^^That picture says it all. Althought I'm not sure if you meant for it to deride angle. Looks like it to me.
WWHHH is known for corny letdowns like this. He couldn't be Rey up or something? He carries his mask in a bag and voila...ugh.
Starrcade in 97 was pretty awesome and had some great buildup. Sadly, I haven't seen in years and probably never will again so I can't talk about the undercard.
Genesis 2006 is easily the best. Every match was great and the main event was the best match I've seen in a long time. Angle and...
You guys need to keep in mind that Vince is telling his announcers what to say. If any mistakes are made, it's by him.
I guess Vince makes mistakes while Shane is rubbing ass lotion on him.
I think it is. Characters do need certain personality traits so we know where they are but face and heel has been evolving for a long time now. It reached a dead end 6-7 years ago and needs to be tweaked.
I like this a lot. They should include more backstage antics and try to get some suprise appearances. This is why WWHHH puts so much stock in WM. It's supposed to FEEL special.
To answer the thread. They don't need anything like a RR. The buildup started at Hard Justice. It's only 2...
^^^Maybe. They have been the best team for 2 1/2 years and have been champions before. They don't need the titles to be over. Beer Money is new and needs that little edge.
Truth is, I would rather see Roode and Storm having good singles feuds.
That's easy to solve. Give some matches or run-ins where he cleans house and says he's gonna keep doing it until he gets a title or a certain match with someone. Here's the kicker, he actually frickin wins.
I told you guys, WWHHH scripts almost everything. They can write something cool...
^^Shark Boy isn't a bad wrestler. He's a little slow for X Division but not incompetent. I'd like to see him have an actual feud. Team 3D/Curry/Sharky feud was for laughs but all 4 can put on a hell of a match.
I think it would behoove TNA to continue with them being funny but putting on...
No. TNA's niche for 6 1/2 years has been trying to bring in the best athletic wrestlers. Of course there will be exceptions but you know where I'm going with this.
In TNA you'll never see an 8ft douche with no capacity for speaking wrestling a little person. Nor would you see an 800 ilb...
I just want to say how great it will be to see Jarrett again. It might not be unreasonable to see this as his farewell tour. He's 41 and still the primary caregiver to 3 young children. He needs a good way to go and losing to Robert Roode isn't it.
I was in the anti-Jarrett camp for 2...
I don't mind DW. He's been very loyal to TNA and that's why I don't crap on him so much anymore.
When I listen to Mike Tenay, I hear a guy who really loves wrestling. Just like Jim Ross. You can just tell that they would never do anything else in life. They live, eat, and breath...
Undie can move but the character is the cassette tape of wrestling. He has year long feuds, goes away, comes back, wins a title, goes away, has a casket match, loses, comes back, hell in a cell, wins.
No, ignorance is believing that 2 roll up wins 4 1/2 years ago still has merit. Shelton Benjamin will go down as the biggest wasted athlete...ever! I'm starting to think that's for real now. There's nothing he can't do. Mic skills? Come on, Undie says nothing for 5 years. Benoit couldn't...
Good stuff! I'll give rep for that. Shame on me for not doing more homework. The season 3& 5 guys though still don't have good resumes.
Gleison Tibau and Luke Cummo aren't that good. They're interesting but Tibau thinks he's Royce Gracie.
^^^I don't know, Sting and AJ has never happened so it may carry on until the end of the year. Sting may try and hold on until March when he turns, get this, 50!
Kurt and AJ may not be over forever. It's been 2 singles ppv matches. Sure LMS is a good blow off but I think there's more gold...
^^Then you're not intelligent.
Joe and Sting hasn't been dropped. At least, we don't know that. These questions are good and are seeds for FUTURE events. You guys should stop crying so much.
I can also tell that you people who complain haven't taken a business class, EVER. They're...
^^Why are you guys saying it's all a mess? It's not, this is how you properly start new feuds. With questions and anticipation. Who's feuding with who? Why? When? This is the work of some good creativity.
I say all signs are pointing to Jarrett vs. Booker at BFG. It's new, fresh and...
Sting took a month off before BFG 2 years ago and it worked out fine. No Surrender is a throw away so it doesn't matter if Angle misses it.
Assuming he takes time off now, he'll get a solid 6-7 weeks to chill out. He could show up at BFG in a run in post match or get included in Monster's...
