    Official Roster Thread

Look, I get it. I'm mostly just grousing because a lot of my favorites (Rollins, Cesaro, Neville, etc.) are on RAW, which I was hoping I wouldn't need to watch to see them.

    Cesaro's pipebomb

Not quite. Back before the WWE wrote out everything a wrestler says, all promos were improved. Of course the wrestler was told what points he had to hit, but beyond that it was all off the cuff. I think that's the promo Cesaro gave here. On a side note, maybe the WWE should stop writing...

    Official Roster Thread

Yeah, I know... It's just that I really, REALLY want the WWE to go all-out in creating a "superstars" vs. "wrestlers" roster if only to see what happens. Hell, they could always do some trading if one show starts seriously tanking, so what risk is there?
  4. Krendall

    Official Roster Thread

Owens could've worked on either show, so him on RAW is fine. I also would've put the Wyatts there plus they have the New Day (since they weren't getting split). I'm just afraid of guys like Cesaro, Zayn, Neville, and the cruiserweights in general getting lost in the shuffle. As for SmackDown...

    Cesaro's pipebomb

Jojo: "How do you think Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon will co-exist?" Cesaro: "I don't really care." Work or not, I loved hearing that. Also, if they were actually claiming SmackDown was going to be the "wrestling" show, then they REALLY screwed up the draft.

    New commentary teams!!!

Good point about the "revolution," but I've never heard Otunga on commentary, so I wouldn't know.
  8. Krendall

    Official Roster Thread

That would be fine IF they gave SmackDown the more athletic wrestlers while RAW got the "superstars," and game SmackDown the cruiserweights once they're integrated. SmackDown would be able to showcase the hungry wrestlers trying to prove themselves with their in-ring abilities.

    New commentary teams!!!

I dunno. I heard her on NXT, and she's not that good at commentary. Great for interviews and doing the pre-show stuff, but not actual commentary.
  10. Krendall

    Official Roster Thread

My biggest problem with the draft is neither show has much of an identity. Basically, it's like RAW got the largest chunk of main event potential while SmackDown was simply thrown a few scraps. I thought the idea was to create competing brands, yet from the get-go they kept referring to RAW as...

    Wait a Second...

I really hope they're not so stupid as to have Reigns return from a suspension and immediately get a title match. The crowds are gonna shit on Roman even worse if they try it.

Wrestlers Who Got Over in Loosing Efforts

Sting vs. Flair at the first Clash of the Champions. The match ended in the draw, but Flair made Sting look like a true contender, cementing Sting as a top wrestler for the rest of his career. Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle at Royal Rumble '03. Benoit lost, but received a standing ovation from the...

    NXT Champ= Smackdown Champ?

The NXT title should remain on NXT. As for the other titles, I would put the US title on SmackDown, the IC title on RAW, and have the WWE title be the top title defended on both brands.

Rick Rude is the greatest performer

Fair enough. I haven't seen any of his work before the WWF, so I wouldn't know. Maybe he had trouble adjusting the WWF style in that first year and a half, then.
  15. Krendall

Rick Rude is the greatest performer

Rude wasn't the greatest, but he was damn good once he was paired with Bobby Heenan and got his heel mannerisms down. What's funny about the Warrior feud is that prior to it Rude was mediocre at best in the ring. Yet, somehow, the two found great in-ring chemistry together and Rude used it to...

Stone Cold isn't happy with Aj Styles' booking

Sadly, this is probably the hang-up. I'm sure in Vince's mind pushing Styles to the top would be like admitting TNA had a main-event worthy wrestler all these years that Vince ignored, and Vince's fragile ego just can't handle that.

RAW June 13th, 2016 [Live Discussion]

Cena/Styles was a surprisingly good segment

RAW June 13th, 2016 [Live Discussion]

Okay. Could've been better for a "go home" show, though
