Speakiing of rashad, how funny would a rashad vs Jardine fight be. Jardine all awkward and what not with Rashad being the cocky bastard he is, the hype would be great.
I'm hoping franklin and Shogun both win, they're both still quite young and sitll got alot of fights left. Hopefully Franklin will decide to stay at LHW since clearly he can't beat silva. Shogun should win but nothings definitive, coleman won their last fight in pride (cause shoguns arm broke...
Current Champs:
HW: Brock Lesnar
LHW: Forrest Griffin
MW: Anderson Silva
WW: Georges St-Pierre
LW: Bj Penn
now who do u think the next champ for each division will be?
I believe
HW: Nog
LHW: Jardine or Machida
MW: Okami or Maia
WW: Thiago Alves or Josh Koscheck
LW: Kenny Florian
honeslty, no one in LW can even come close to beating penn and florian
some matches i would love to see are
GSP vs anderson silva
Anderson Silva vs Rashad Evans
Anderson Silva vs Lyoto Machida
Lesnar vs Fedor
Gabe gonzaga vs Brock lesnar
Dan henderson vs Forest Griffin
Keith Jardine vs Rashad...
Amir was supposed to fight at UFC 91 on the actual card (not prelims) but he got injured. Amir a great fighter i really like him.
Btw do you guys remember CB'S peruvian knectie on jesse taylor. OMG it was fucking nice
saying brock is the best fighter of 2008 is definately overrating him. I would definately go with Anderson silva, he's won all three of his fights this year and has fought in Middleweight and Light Heavyweight decision, no one has gone the limit with him in a while and has won 8 in a row in the UFC.
I would say ufc 81 which was headlined by Noguiera fighting Tim Sylvia which was a great fight, nog was getting beat in the first rounds but like always he pulled out the victory. The card also had Brock lesnars anticipated debut (which had a bullshit ending(: ) as well as Nate Marquardt vs...
My favorite would have to be Jens Pulver vs Urijah Faber at the beggining of june. It went 5 rounds and it was non stop action. I really enjoyed the fight, especially since it was on free tv :)
I seriously doubt silvia could last more than 3 rounds with lesnar. Sylvias wayy past his prime, i'm not gonna deny that he was great but that was a couple years ago.
Well out of the guys on my list the only person i prefer to lesnar is arlovski (love the guy) but my problem putting lesnar ahead of 5th place is that hes had only 4 fights. If he manages to beat noguera i would definately place him ahead of barnett and arlovski (unless he beats fedor). And i...
Who is everyones top ten heavyweights at them moment? (i'm not talking about favorites, im talking about best) :)
1. Fedor Emelianenko
2. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria
3. Andrei Arlovski
4. Josh Barnett
5. Brock Lesnar
6. Tim Silvia
7.Randy Couture
8. Gabe Gonzaga
9. Mauricio Rua
10. Mirko Crop Cop...
I'm really hoping GSP wins though, like their both top pfp fighters. Both of them have great takedown defence I'd rank them top 3. But bj's biggest issue is his lack of leg kicks. When you fight gsp u need to be diverse and bj just uses his little jab combo it works agaisnt a wreslter like sean...
Well im seriously hopeing that Arlovski comes back to the UFC, i still have him at around 3 or 4 in the heavyweight division and I'm seriously hoping he beats Fedor (which probably won't happen)
Who do u think will be headlining every division in the UFC
Here are my thoughts:
HW: Brock Lesnar, Andrei Arlovski, Gabe Gonazaga
LHW: Lyoto Machida, Forest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Shogun
MW: Michael Bisping, Patrick Cote, robbie lawler, Thales Leites,Paulo Filho, yushin okami, roussimar...
