    oh the booking was terrible. The Invasion storyline would have been so much better if both companies had babyfaces and heels. Bring DDP in as DDP and he'd have been fine. IC title level guy. MAYBE he competes for a Worlds Title at some point.

    The issue was that they wanted the Alliance to be heels. The only way to make DDP a heel was to literally have him (in storyline) be a fucking stalker to The Undertakers wife.

    DDP had such a weird career. Was a night club owner in the 80s. Was a wrestling manager in the early 90s, then started his in-ring career at age 40.

    I don't disagree. I just find it ironic that when WWE intentionally competes the mindset is WWE is Evil. When AEW intentionally competes they are given a free pass. When WWE has been preempted in the past like 10 years they just move to a different channel (Fox to FS1, USA to SyFy, etc).
