    2011 was when it really went downhill. I am not the biggest fan of Cena. But I much prefer watching him than today's headliners.

    Bryan did bomb. Kevin Eck who worked with the company at the time said that his numbers were nothing special. He had a clear negative influence on TV and PPV numbers when he headlined. Styles did have brief periods where his merchandise sold well. But Reigns and Cena consistently outsold him.

    WWE has been boring for years. Ratings have been tumbling since 2010. They started pushing the likes of Punk, Bryan and the like in 2011. That's a reason why business has tumbled.

    1) Styles' house show numbers were identical to Jinder's. NWOWolfpac ran the numbers. 2) Bryan bombed on top. The numbers speak for themselves.

    Roman is gone for now. Brock is a part-timer. There is only really Braun who is on TV every week. Instead, we get Rollins, Styles, Bryan and others in main event spots on TV every week. Not to mention Owens and Zayn stinking up the undercard when they return.

    They have tailored their product to a niche audience. 205 Live, Rollins and Bryan as Champions, Numerous indie signings, etc.

    Yes, it's WWE's fault that they push the wrong performers. But it's Bryan, Owens, and Rollins' fault that they don't have the goods to deliver.

    There is no reason to watch WWE at the moment. That's the problem. Brock and Braun are the only mildly interesting performers they have. Maybe Rousey as well. But she doesn't do much for me. Lynch is okay but she won't become the star that some think. The rest are not fit to be main-eventers.
