  1. The Official WWE Unforgiven Thread

How was Taker's match a big let down? Were you expect some kind of technical masterpiece from them Henry/Taker? I thought it was good for what it was. Taker returned and had his grand entrance, showed off all of his usual moves and then got the 1..2..3 and the fans went home happy.
  2. What we didnt see at Unforgiven

From watching the show, I thought it was probably a 50/50 split (maybe even slightly in Orton's favor), and it was especially interesting to hear the dueling chants of "Let's Go Orton" and "Let's Go Cena". I don't think saying it was 60/40 is too far fetched at all...
  3. The Official WWE Unforgiven Thread

Batista should have pinned both Mysterio and Khali when he hit the Batista Bomb on Rey onto Khali. That would have been a very convincing victory
  4. will orton ever be wwe champion

By one-year mark, I meant one year straight as champ. That's the milestone that I'm talking about.
  5. Who should batista fued with next

Undertaker Vs. Batista at No Mercy.....
  6. HHHate Hunter? Think he's HHHitler? Post HHHere!

Honestly, I believe the WWE should be pushing HHH hard upon his return because his popularity is likely sky high right now. I totally agree with him going over Carlito, and the ending wasn't even clean, so if you want to bash HHH there you go. Carlito got screwed.....haha I don't have a...
  7. HHHate Hunter? Think he's HHHitler? Post HHHere!

The only reason that Carlito was allowed to use weapons was to put some doubt in our minds that HHH might lose. Of course, that thought never really crossed my mind. Basically, Carlito got totally dominated in this short feud. Did he ever get the best of HHH during this entire deal? I don't...
  8. The Official WWE Unforgiven Thread

I agree that they could have done that DQ finish on TV since more people would have seen it anyway and could have attracted more buys for No Mercy's Last Man Standing match. I also understand why the match itself was a DQ (to show us Cena's rage and to have him just beat Orton like he owes him...
  9. will orton ever be wwe champion

Hmm....I actually think Orton will win the title at No Mercy. Cena made it past the one-year mark as champion, so now it's time to get Orton the title. Then we can get Cena get his rematch, have Orton retain, and start a title feud between Orton and HHH.
  10. WEC 53: Henderson vs. Pettis

ECW can't more than one match on the PPV because for one they only have an hour of airtime, this really only allows them to build one feud sucessfully. Another thing to consider is that ECW is like the "C" league of the WWE, which means that at PPVs, the WWE wants to showcase Smackdown and Raw...
  11. The Official WWE Unforgiven Thread

Yea, I'm pretty disappointed with Orton/Cena ending in a DQ, but it made sense with the storyline, and it leads us to a Last Man Standing at No Mercy, so I'm really not gonna complain. As for the rest of the show, Punk Vs. Burke - Fine match, didn't really care for the ending. MVP/Hardy...
  12. Goldberg on TNA: "They don't deserve to have me"

It's a shame that Goldberg isn't interested in TNA, because I think he would make a pretty decent edition to the roster. I wouldn't mind seeing a matchup of Angle/Goldberg.
  13. The Official WWE Unforgiven Thread

Alright, it's about that time.... I'm just gonna throw out some predictions: WWE Championship Match John Cena vs. Randy Orton - Orton shocks everyone by beating Cena to end his near 1 year reign. Should most definitely be the match of the night. Of course, Orton could easily win by DQ...
  14. What's Next For Punker?

If Punk loses the title to Morrison right when gets back, then the WWE should have put the title on someone else when Morrison got suspended. I think that a short reign might make CM Punk look bad and they should have just saved his title win for a bigger stage. (By short reign, I mean the month...
  15. What's Next For Punker?

Agreed, it wouldn't surprise me for either tag title match to open the show. I think Londrick/C&M would be probably be at a little faster pace and could be a nice little opener. Here's a thought for everyone, When do you Punk will get moved up to the main roster?
  16. WEC 53: Henderson vs. Pettis

I think Morrison is pretty damn good, he's gotten a lot better since his run with the ECW title started. His promos have gotten better and he normally brings the goods in the ring. I could see him coming back, winning and holding the ECW title until WM 24 and then dropping it to Punk. After...
  17. What's Next For Punker?

Letting Punk Vs. Burke open the show might be a pretty good idea, could get really get the crowd amped up. I actually expect them to be about the 3rd match on the card, and for Londrick Vs. C & M to open the show. Either way, I think they can put on a decent match, but like what was said...
  18. Andre the Giant or Khali

How long was Andre's undefeated streak? I could be wrong, but I remember reading it was like a few years long. Someone help me out here...
  19. What's Next For Punker?

All I was saying is that it was really hyped up and didn't totally deliver. It wasn't like they were in the main event or anything, so there shouldn't have been too much pressure. I'm sure Punk has been in some big match atmospheres before.
  20. What's Next For Punker?

Is anyone really buying Burke as a legitimate threat to Punk's title? I mean Punk has beaten basically everytime they have fought and almost every win was clean. It would be an understatement to say that Punk owns Burke. With that being said, they could still put on some decent matches...
