    possible Japanese wrestlers in future

I was thinking, for the ladies, how about Aja Kong or Io Shirai? maybe Hiroyo Matsumoto or Hikaru Shida as well. I saw online that Shida got a tryout and she has beat Asuka a number of times. I saw a clip of Asuka and Matsumoto. Asuka gave her a nice stinkface but it wound up being a draw. I say...

so I guess he's Japan's answer to the Undertaker. there's your once a year SUMMERSLAM match UNDERTAKER vs THE GREAT MUTA. Last Ride and Tombstone vs Fireball and Green Mist. (wink)

    Talent From Down Under

yes on Kellie Skater and Madison Eagles. both are damn talented and pretty funny as well. I have eight SHIMMER DVDs and they are on them. Eagles is phenomenal as exemplified by her title match against Serena Deeb (vol. 41) and her two matches against Nicole Matthews (vols. 58 and 67) her sense...

    possible Japanese wrestlers in future

well, given the clips I've seen are from 2004-10 or so, the most recent being 2014-5, the fact that Chono is retired and Tenzan is nearing retirement doesn't surprise me. in fact, WIKIPEIDA said that the 2016 G-1 CLIMAX or whatever would be Tenzan's last. as for Makabe, apparently he doesn't...

    possible Japanese wrestlers in future

hey all, so the WWE is interested in Kazuicha Okada, but he isn't interested in them. therefore, I have a few ideas who the WWE should go after as alternatives. this is based on matches I have seen on Youtube. which would you say is the likliest candidate? Hirohashi Tanashi Hiroyoshi...

LOL Meltzer thinks WWE can steal Japanese golden boy

well, given JR's statement that VInce and company's mindset is WWII era and that the Japanese wrestlers we have seen here-Tajiri, Funaki, Michinoku-don't rise above mid-card level and are expected to play to stereotypes, I would politely tell the WWE to fuck themselves as well if I was the Rainman.

    asuka merchandise

does anyone know where I might get Asuka merchandise when she was Kana (t-shirts, photos, etc) and what source is reliable in delivering. I was thinking of getting a photo or two. any thoughts?

LOL Meltzer thinks WWE can steal Japanese golden boy

I was listening to JR on Podcast, and he says the problem is that Vince and his cronies are stuck in WWII, implying that Okada would be the stereotypical anti-American heel ala Mr. Fuji or such. the same might go for Asuka and Shinsuke Nakamura if he's still in charge when they come to the main...

    Kana/Asuka souveniers

hey, Hulkamaniacs, how's it going? I was wondering on what sites where I might find Kana/Asuka souveniers (i.e. prints, T-shirts, posters, etc) I would appreciate it.

    favorite Shinsuke Nakamura match

hey Hulkamaniacs, I was watching a few Shinsuke Nakamura matches and I must say. our Kyoto Freddie Mercury/Micheal Jackson is quite the artist and showman. definitely some of the best wrestling I have ever seen and a true work of art to behold. I put down the matches and I was wondering which...

    WWE vs The World

hey all, a little something I put together for piss and giggles. enjoy. (note-these are actually two posts in one as someone suggested it this way.) WWE vs SHIMMER Hello! Ladies and gents! Welcome to a night of pain and pleasure. Grunts and groans as the WWE takes on the best the femme...

    Favorite WWE Wrestler Catchphrase(s)?

"Nobody is ready for Asuka!" (Japanese accent) I don't know if this technically qualifies as a catchphrase, but given the WWE apparently doesn't allow its wrestlers to train/compete in Japan for experience and to help their game, it may very well be true.
  13. Neilslam

How will the Universe react to upcoming NXT talent ?

that's a good point. Japanese wrestling tends to be theatrical and Asuka had several personas there, Zombie Commander, Commander, Space Warrior, Ghost Clown and regular. the WWE main audience might get lost.

    Favorite WWE Wrestler Catchphrase(s)?

I was just thinking Rick Rude. but, "Whoo whoo whoo! You know it!"

    MsChif in WWE (not!)

hey all, another idea for who could/should come to the WWE, but stated in an interview she she has absolutely NO interest whatsoever. I'm talking about "Your Soul's Tormentor" MsChif. she of the green-dyed hair, Goth attire and makeup and the banshee scream. she also has one of the coolest...

    Hikaru Shida in WWE?

I wasn't aware the WWE had any Chinese women. Kana's English is actually not that bad and, flipping around YOUTUBE, I came across Shida giving an interview on a MAKAI channel and her English is pretty decent as well.

    WWE planning Women's Tournament

yup. SHIMMER alone has a loaded roster. Cheerleader Melissa, Kimber Bombs, Madison Eagles, Lufisto, AKINO, Heidi Lovelace, Vanessa Kraven, Melanie Cruise, just to name a few. Ayako Hamada would also kick ass as well as Hikaru Shida, Manami Toyota, Aja Kong,

    Hikaru Shida in WWE?

indeed. and thank you, Stopspot. I was just going to say that the SHIMMER DVDs that she was on (as well as 58) came out 2013-14. still, would she give up wrestling for OZ.

    Hikaru Shida in WWE?

hey Hulkamaniacs, what is up? I thought of another wrestler who should be in the WWE and from what I read got a tryout. one Hikaru Shida from ICE RIBBON/OZ ACADEMY. I have SHIMMER 58 and 65 and 66 and she is on all three. she is terrific. very skilled and brutal in her offense and she has a...
